Beautiful spring weather is a blimp on the radar. It comes and goes very quickly in New Orleans. We need to take advantage of every minute and one way we love to soak in the nice weather is with a cold, balanced cocktail. It’s not necessary to have a ton of ingredients, just a few ingredients in the correct proportions can make an ohhh worthy drink.
This recipe comes from Tableau manager (former bar manager) Chris Slack. It only takes three ingredients, meaning less time is devoted to making it and more time can be devoted to enjoying it!
Tableau’s balcony overlooking Jackson Square is the perfect backdrop for an evening sipping cocktails with friends and family. When you’re in the mood to have someone else do the mixing, go pay them a visit!
Goose on the Loose
2 oz Premium vodka (we usually use Grey Goose)
.75 oz Domaine Canton Ginger Liqueur
1 oz Lime juice
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake well. Stain into a coupe glass and garnish with candied ginger or lime peel (both optional).
