Saints vs. Eagles: Black and Gold Fever at the Steakhouse

The first New Orleans Saints playoff game is this Sunday and it’s a fair assessment to say that New Orleans has come down with a severe case of Black & Gold fever. Like jazz and rich food, the Saints are a part of our vibrant culture. To honor them, our restaurants have always enjoyed coming up with special dishes that have a nod to our boys in black and gold.

The black and gold martini at Dickie Brennan’s Steakhouse is a perfect example. It’s a combination of a gourmet black olive, rolled in edible 24k gold and stuffed with local Cajun caviar, served in a Hendrick’s martini. Oh, and it’s prepared tableside for a bit of theatrics!

You can get this martini and much more this Sunday at Dickie Brennan’s Steakhouse, which will be opening at 11:30 a.m., January 13th to serve lunch before the big game.
